Core machine orders in Japan advanced 8.8 percent on month in June, the Cabinet Office said on Thursday. That was well shy of forecasts for an increase of 15.3 percent following the record 19.5 percent decline in May. On a yearly basis, core machine orders dipped 3.0 percent - also missing expectations for an increase of 3.0 percent following the 14.3 percent contraction in the previous month.
